I never watch that show, but this woman’s face and name is everywhere. She apparently made a huge impression on people. Might be fun to know how many people have blogged about her.

It was great to see someone shine after being so under estimated because of her looks. I don’t know that it’s quite the same with dating though. Looks should not be the driving force, but in most couples, both people are usually fairly similar in their level of physical attractiveness.

My main concern in all of this is that Susan may be over exposed and her chance of true fame could fizzle out. This would truly be a great pity – as the press are putting her main competition worry as a ‘squeaky’ lad giving a rendition of an old Michael Jackson hit. We have all heard this type of thing before a thousand times … I was really hoping for something fresh and different this time around. I expect the Queen (who the winner will be performing in front of) was too hoping for something somewhat kind on the ear.

I hope that Susan gets her dream!

I “have” judged a book by it’s cover and I know it’s horrible to judge anyone period. Ms. Boyle amazing talent should make everyone look at the person within.

Very well said. Susan Boyle truly pulled off an extraordinary performance. I am glad she is not like William Hung who only wanted his fifteen minutes of fame.
