Happy National Nude Day !
What began as New Zealand’s (and now the world’s) National Nude day on July 14th every year is not a public holiday (sadly) but a day to celebrate the human form.
Brain child of former New Zealand All Black rugby star and TV presenter Marc Ellis, National Nude Day (also now known as International Nude Day) is a celebration of the skin with much fun attached. The concept has been adopted by particularly Dunedin, New Zealand students (Scarfies) where getting nude is nothing new. Dunedin is a legend University City in the south of New Zealand.
Nude Day is a one day a year that all in NZ can celebrate nudeness, nakedness, being in the nudey, running free in all your original raw beauty, putting on your best birthday suit. It’s a day everyone can participate in, fat, skinny, big, small, firm, soft and the flabby can all get involved. Just between you and me, looking around the office where I work, I’m not sure I want to see them all nude. Not to worry, it’s only one day a year and I can stand it if they choose to get their gear off.
To everyone around the world, celebrate your body and celebrate New Zealand and the Worlds Nude Day. It’s liberating and it’s beautiful. Our bodies are the only things we own, be proud of yours no matter what shape or size you are.
This National Nude Day video does show nudity so if you don’t want to see that, don’t click, ok?

Let’s all blog naked…. well, maybe not…let’s all blog barefoot for starters
Great Post SOB! The universe is expanding and so are most people over 30! Good for all those people who are uninhibited enough to let it all hang out.
