How do you know you’re in love?
If you’ve been doing much adult dating, then you are most likely familiar with the symptoms of love. But for those who are new to the feelings, how do you know that you like this person? Well it’s easy! Here are some telltale signs that signal that you are falling hook, line and sinker!
#1. Your heart skips a beat when you see them…or even when you hear their voice.
It’s really normal to hear one’s heartbeat whenever we see someone we really want to be a part of our lives. We can hear the throbbing and thumping of our cardiac muscles! You might feel nervous, anxious and excited at the sight of this person, too. This is the number one sign that you really have the hots for this one!
#2. There are butterflies in your stomach.
Are you familiar with that sometimes annoying, nauseating feeling that you sometimes get when you’re nervous and excited? Well it’s probably those stress butterflies fluttering in your stomach. That weird feeling is just one of the signs that you’re feeling a lusty attraction.
#3. Your hands sweat and shake like crazy.
In normal circumstances, the sweating and shaking of your hands can be synonymous to a medical condition or some sort of caffeine overdose. But for people falling in love, it’s fairly common that the hands sweat and shake. There’s that anxious, nervous but giddy feeling that you just feel throughout your body.
#4. You can’t stop thinking about them.
Not only can’t you stop thinking about them, they’re all you want to talk about. You find a way to fit them into every conversation. They become the number one subject of your subconscious.
Will these feelings last? Only time will tell but enjoy yourself and love being in love. There’s no greater feeling in the world than knowing you’re loved by someone you feel the same way about.

God I just found out I have never been in love. That’s terrible. I always wondered how you knew you were in love truly. I wonder how many people got together thinking they were in love but not really knowing? I enjoy reading your blog.

Hi SexyOldBroad
Being in love feels guuuuuuud to me, but I think I prefer ‘love’ than ‘being in love’ (or a combination of the two). I know that now, but it took a lot of bitter-sweet hurt for me to realise that.
take care…
Are you serious? I would say “in love” is the tops. Love is grand. But in-love is really all there is in the world.
does the 1st 3 things really apply to everyone?
i only experience a pounding heart and anxiety rarely when i see my bf …
no2 and 3 never happened to me..
i do think about him often though..
it was him who liked me first and i rejected him at first and it was only some time later i started liking him…
we’ve been together for a year already…i’m happy with him…
but with the absence of the 3 things…do i really love him?
or are the 1st 3 things something that fades away after being in love for some time?
Viccisitudes of Life
I would agree with Amy. The best is to be in-love. It’s the best emotion there is. The way you know is by how much it hurts when you break-up…
