Profound words
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson the story of the two wolves. It’s about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, “My son, the battle is between two “wolves” inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
I know in the past that I’ve fed them both and it’s way past time to choose one over the other.

Somewhat reminiscent of what I told a co-worker recently: “Don’t piss on me and tell me it’s raining.”
I try to feed the right wolf. I guess the trick is knowing which one is? The one whose most hungry?
Food for thought, I mean wolf.
I really like this story. It is so true. We have a lot to learn from the Indian culture.
Very true!
That’s one heck of a story.
My Indian name would be Big Wolf Little Wolf.
