When I was in university sex seemed to be the norm on the first date. It seems to be the norm for a lot of people over here in NZ. I am nt so keen on the idea. I am originally from Zimbabwe which has a really high HIV/AIDS prevelance so I was very careful about where I went. I know I few people who have even gotten pregnant on the first date - how sad and unsafe is that? Sex on the first date is a NO for me.
