The Comb-over
I went out to lunch yesterday at a sidewalk cafe and as I was eating my bowls of twigs I was watching all the people that go by. It’s one of my favorite pastimes. This one’s clothes are too tight, that one has too much makeup on, that one really shouldn’t go outside looking like that and then my biggest pet peeve of all, the comb-over men. Puhleeze. If God wanted you to cover it up he’d have given you more hair!
To make matters worse for me, it was windy. As these silly buggers walked up the sidewalk, their hair was waving to me like a giant hand on top of their heads. It is not attractive! You might be different, but a neatly trimmed balding man is sexy to me. If you really can’t face going bald, then get a wig. At least it won’t wave to me.
Have a look at these heads, will you? I can’t believe that they think this is a good look. Maybe their mirrors show them something different.

the men think it looks ok because in the mirror they look straight on and the comb over looks thick from that angle, just like newly sprouted grass looks thick when you view at a slant. However these heads, when you look straight down on them, just like newly sprouted grass when you look straight at it, are very thin indeed. Yul Brynner was very sexy. With all the digi cameras and phones, the sigoth of every balding guy should snap him from behind. Once he sees how bad the comb over looks to other people I hope that will convince him to snip it short or shave it. I wish it was that easy for women who see a picture of their ass from behind and when they see how fat it is they can’t just clip it. heheh.

Vanity makes us do things we shouldn’t some atimes…I’m in agreement…men should just cut it short or shave it off and be done with it…they would look so much better!!! As you mentioned…if this is beyond them then get a wig…but my preference would be just cut the hair, because unless they get a “professional” wig you can usually tell…and that is just as bad :0)

My grandpa (God rest his soul) used to do the comb-over thing and my grandma hated it–passionately. If I start to go bald, I think I’ll help nature along and just shave it all off. Maybe I could be the next Kojak…LoL

Here’s different hair style for men to cover up your bald hair. I must say some looks funny.
I’d swear the guy in the middle is standing next to Julia Roberts. Apparently the combover isn’t damaging his social life as much as one might think.
